All plastics pipe and fittings in the Equator product range comply with the recommendations of BS6920:1990 - Suitability of non -metallic products for use in contact with water for human consumption, with regard to their effect on the quality of the water. Therefore, Equator is acceptable to all UK Regional Water Authorities.

Equator is designed to comply with BS7291: Part 1 1990 which covers the general requirements of thermoplastic pipes and BS 7291: Part 3: 1990 (1995) - Specification for crosslinked polyethylene (PE-X) pipes and associated fittings.

Equator complies with the highest rating, which is class S.

The barrier pipe system, and fittings have been subjected to detailed assessment by the British Board of Agreement.
