Design Conditions

When installing Equator underfloor heating, the following conditions must be met:

The pipes under the floor must be embedded in floor screed, minimum depth of 75mm.

The pipes under the floor must be laid in a 'counter flow' pattern. The control valve must be located on the return pipe.

Floor area must not be greater than 15m2.

Pipe centres should be 150mm.

Floor coverings should either be ceramic tiles or laminate flooring.

The heating circulation pump must be capable of providing enough flow and pressure to the underfloor heating circuit.
