Design conditions

The simplicity of the Equator system dictates that it must be installed with these conditions in mind:

 


Underfloor heating

The pipes under the floor must be embedded in at least 75mm of floor screed.

 

The pipes under the floor must be laid in a 'counter flow' pattern, see Installation, step 3. The control valve must be located on the return pipe.

 

Floor area must not to be greater than 15m2.

 

Pipe centres should be either 150mm or 225mm.

 

The heating circulating pump must be capable of providing enough flow and pressure to the underfloor heating circuit.
