An Underfloor Heating System, in simplest
terms, is a radiator buried in your floor screed. Whereas radiators
provide heat from a very small surface, which is normally very hot,
underfloor heating transfers heat from a very large surface area,
the whole floor, which is only slightly warmer than the room. Hot
water is circulated through pipes embedded in the floor. The temperature
of the water is automatically controlled by a valve, which ensures
the floor surface temperature is between 25 - 28ºC.
